Location: Chennai

With a strong presence in the southern region of India, we are committed to excellence in both product development and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts across the southern states of India. Looking for candidates with proven track record in building materials or related industries, with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives across the southern states of India.

- Lead, mentor and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

- Drive revenue growth through effective management of sales channels, distribution networks and key accounts.

- Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and development.

- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, builders, contractors and government agencies.

- Monitor and report on sales and marketing performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.

- Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure alignment between market requirements and product offerings.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven success in driving sales growth and achieving targets in the building materials or construction industry.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English and knowledge of regional languages preferred.

- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to travel within the southern states of India as needed.
