Head - Safety & Security - BPO/ITeS

Salary offered: 12 - 15 LPA

- Supervising security services and correcting any shortcoming for smooth functioning; conceptualizing need based training programs for performing security operations and designing security policies while serving as security advisor to the top management on fire safety & security matters.

- Ensuring proper deployment and operation of security equipment such as intrusion detection systems, access control systems,, metal detectors, CCTV cameras, etc. and performing regular security inspections to determine compliance with the necessary security measure.

- Reporting any anomalies and non-compliant features identified during the internal audits, periodic re-examinations, security inspections and taking necessary remedial measures.

- Instrumental in handling security activities, ensuring Information security while conceptualizing security plans identifying vulnerabilities/ exposures & risks, deploying security protections.

- Safeguarding man/material and efficiently liaising and coordinating with law & enforcing agencies; proficient in handling emergency situations, developing & executing effective and insightful vigilance & security strategies.

- Ascertaining safety of high valued assets, materials and building; expertise in conceptualizing and implementing innovative plans for security and recommending protection measures.

- Driving security management initiatives to prevent external and internal theft and incidents of loss to the assets, information and manpower from the premises thereby implementing best security practices and guidance notes.

- Demonstrating professional excellence in mapping security needs of the organization and designing/

- implementing security plans & systems to prevent security violations.

- Carrying out assessment of risk & threats towards all assets and vulnerable areas including - personnel, property and operations, proprietary information and reputation and the potential impact of an incident.

- Preparing regular report to track daily activities and irregularities like equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.

- Formulating operating budgets; taking adequate measures to ensure optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of group objectives.

- Effectively negotiating with vendors for timely procurement of security gadgets used as physical barriers for intruders.

- Successfully monitoring activities and identify training needs of employees for upgrading their technical and soft skills and developing the complete training infrastructure.

- Assessing the requirement of modern gadgets for access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, etc. for effective security measures vis-a-vis curtailment of security manpower.

- Conducting Security / Fire Fighting / Evacuation Training and Mock drill for security personnel.

- Formulating Business continuity Plan (BCP) for the Facilities Management team and were a Member of the BCP team to execute the plan in the event of emergency.

- Effectively maintaining expenses with implementation of stringent cost control measures and sustain profitable operations through Focus on budgeting, cost analysis and cost optimization

Qualifications, Experience & Skill Sets:

1. MBA/ Graduate with 8 Plus years experience in Safety and having worked with Large IT / ITES / BPO companies. Must have business acumen and financial and currently working in an Global MNC BPO as In charge of Security.

2. Excellent organizational, leadership and project management skills

3. Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously within budget and timelines

4. A comprehensive understanding of building systems and property management practices

5. Excellent communication and organization skills

6. Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word and power point.
