Job Responsibilities :

- Mobilization of required number of Tank Trucks to meet full demand of the network, at the most reasonable / optimized cost

- Developing a comprehensive term sheet

- Ensure vendor satisfaction through transparent and effective systems and processes for maximum mobilization and utilization of TTs.

- Review Market conditions continuously and rework term sheet and/or rate in cases of gap between supply and demand of Tank Trucks

- Review quality of vendors being inducted against defined benchmarks

Operational Excellence & Safety :

- Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures, to ensure safe and secure transportation of products to the terminals and Retail Outlets

- Enable operations team to define benchmarks for transporters and tank truck performance for transit shortages, transit delays, truck turnaround time and utilization

- Enable and review a system for rewarding transporters who exceed performance benchmarks on Transit time and shortages

- Regular reviews of random checks and audits of terminals for TT loading, Q&Q processes and TLCU functioning to monitor adherence to SOPs

- Periodic Review of scheduling and planning of trucks to ensure business demand is fully met without bias and inefficiencies, to maximize TT performance for all transporters, with minimal dry outs to ROs

- Resolution of escalated vendor complaints

- Initiating studies to gauge vendor satisfaction and feedback for necessary improvements.

Rate Contract Management :

- Financial and Commercial Controls

- Negotiations and establish rates

- Develop and review commercial controls, systems and processes

- Review processes for data maintenance in system.

- Regular reviews of Vendor registration

People Development :

- Identifying learning needs of team members

- Motivating individuals for continual improvements through innovations.

- Planning for career development and job rotation of subordinates.

- Competency development to meet changing business needs

- Establishing Quality management systems through employees- participation

Company TT operations :

- Review HOTO process, Statutory compliance and Maintenance schedules procedure

- Contract Management
