Job Summary : The Head of Risk Monitoring and Stressed Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the early warning system for mid-market and large corporate lending, and for managing the portfolio of stressed assets. This role requires the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for mitigating risk

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement an early warning system for mid-market and large corporate lending to identify and monitor potential risk factors that could impact the loan portfolio.

- Work closely with the credit risk management team to identify potential stressed assets and develop strategies to mitigate risk.

- Monitor the portfolio of stressed assets and work with the relevant business units to implement appropriate risk management strategies.

- Conduct regular stress testing exercises to assess the exposure to various scenarios and identify potential areas of concern.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including regulators, auditors, and other relevant parties.

- Provide regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on the risk exposure and the effectiveness of the risk management framework.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the risk monitoring and stressed asset management team, ensuring that staff are trained and equipped to effectively perform their duties.

Qualifications :

- CA or MBA.

- At least 12 years of experience in risk management and Stressed Assets, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.

- Experience with stress testing and portfolio risk management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.

- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.
