Head - Retail & Offline Business Expansion
The company is a modern Indian lifestyle brand. All their products are 100% PeTA approved Vegan and Proudly Indian. They are currently operate in bags, wallets and footwear. They are building an iconic global consumer brand from India. They aim to achieve this by making great products and building the best consumer brand team in India.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to market, sell, and distribute the company products through EBOs, general trade and modern trade channels focusing on maximizing consumer reach and purchase frequency. Develop relationships with distributors and retailers to enhance market penetration and product availability.
- Effectively shortlist and identify suitable areas to launch the company stores in India. Apply data-driven logic to arrive at the optimal locations. Maintain research data documented on reason for shortlisting said areas.
- Devise comprehensive action plans and strategies to run advertising & marketing campaigns that boost footfall at the company stores.
- Engage in appropriate negotiation and finalize favorable terms with franchisees and real estate owners.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company outlets post-launch, ensuring smooth functioning, optimal inventory management, and excellent customer service. Implement operational efficiencies and address any challenges to maintain high standards of performance and profitability.
- Hire and train personnel for the company stores, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency. Select, onboard, and train franchise partners effectively.
- Prepare and execute sales strategies, establish contacts, and develop relationships with prospective clients to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with online teams to unify the brand experience for consumers, integrating loyalty programs and frictionless payments.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines applicable to the company stores.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in retail outlet set up, operations, business development, and revenue management, preferably within the consumer goods sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance optimization.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data-driven decision-making.
