Main Role:
1. The primary responsibility will be to conceptualize, develop and implement plans for all liability products which include sales, product definition and development, creating of pricing strategy, branding and marketing plans with the ultimate goal to contributing to the profitability of the Bank.
2. To build, engage teams for driving for compliant, profitable business and built quality portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Business/Financials
- Assess market conditions, plan, organize, direct and control product related activities and resource in order to meet objectives of the Liability business for the Bank
- Oversee & have appropriate product programs in place for Branch banking, TPP, TASC business and ensure that these programs are reviewed, modified and renewed on a regular basis
- Provide oversight for the Third Party Products partnerships
- Oversee the business achievement of the Branch Banking, TPP and TASC products
- Launch and implement new products as per business strategy
Customer (Both Internal & External)
- Monitor service index and put in place various service delivery frameworks to deliver best in best in class customer service for all customer segments in Liabilities vertical
- Drive maximization of digital banking and work towards digitization of all product offerings and sales processes that will make customer experience seamless through the life-cycle
- Drive product teams to design a range of products across all liability verticals that will result in increased value and cross sell
Internal Process
- Effectively manage the relationships with external entities like regulators, product providers, etc. and also with internal stakeholders like operations, compliance, legal,, finance, credit risk and regional team
- Drive a culture of compliance with banking guidelines, quality framework and audit requirements
- Respond to all audit observations and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence

- Attract and develop talent in a culture of high performance and strive to retain existing talent
- Promote and create an environment of healthy competition, transparency and have a process promoting meritocracy and performance through regular rewards and recognition programs
- Provide learning opportunities to the team through expanded mobility and role expansion
- Ensure that the RMs and Unit Heads are provided coaching in liaison with Human resources
Educational
Qualifications - Post Graduate in Marketing/Finance
Experience (Years and Core Experience Type)
- 20+ Years of experience in variety of Liability management roles in Banking Organization
- 10 years in a leadership role driving business
- Experience driving a large distributed business across locations and regulatory guidelines
