Description :
- Lead retail channel sales team with the aim of extending market leadership.
- Establish strategy and best practices for staff to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.
- Proactively manage and review the performance and progress of Regional Managers and their regions, sets objectives and targets; works with the team to develop individual training plans.
- Take a lead role in building a strong sales management culture with the operations team; spend time coaching the team, identifying skills and opportunities for development; provide advice and guidance on shop manager issues when needed.
- Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement change and improvements.
- Influence and support the retail element of the annual budget process ensuring understanding and buy in from the operations team
Profile :
- Ideal candidate would have over 7 years of relevant experience in commercial roles in the Retail sector
- Strong communication and people leadership skills and bias to fact-based, analytical ways of working
- Proven record of effectively managing people across different levels of experience/rank/capability/motivation level is required to succeed in the role
- MBA from Top B School
- Highest drive for results
- Forward thinking and the ability to foster innovation with creativity, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives
- Extraordinary communication and relationship skills including the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within the organization
- Ability to continuously re-prioritize and adapt to change
- Be effective at managing change in a dynamic working environment
