Head - Retail Acquisition - Asset Reconstruction Firm
Responsible for building & leading the business with respect to evaluating and acquiring new Retail deals. Maintaining existing and developing new relations in the industry while developing market intelligence on current and prospective Retail deals.
Business plan and market intelligence:
- Formulating retail business plan and strategies at organization level in close coordination with Whole time Director (WTD) & CIO.
- Work towards developing quarterly and annual business pipeline
- Closely track the market and develop market intelligence to grab available and prospective business opportunities
- Work closely with Retail Resolution team for monitoring business plan, successful resolution of the deals, liquidity management etc.
- Build and maintain retail knowledge centre which acts as an internal facilitator to drive decision making on retail acquisitions
Investment Management:
- Business development and relationship building
(i) Idea generation/ sourcing new deals
(ii) Liaison with Banks/NBFCs/ Fintech/ Advisors for sourcing new transactions
(iii) deal syndication to Investors
(iv) Dealing with valuers, lawyers, financial services firms who facilitate in the transaction
- Deal Negotiations and structuring: - With seller Bank, NBFC, Fintech and Investors
- Investment analysis - Leading due diligence including financial, legal and valuation
- Preparing and presenting Investment presentations/ pitch and engaging with internal investment committees and external investors for getting approvals on investment.
- Monitoring the existing retail book in collaboration with Retail Collections Head
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations issued by RBI and other regulatory bodies.

- Proven track record of building and growing Retail business.
- Good relations and contacts in diverse industries, team management skills and credit evaluation.
Education: CA / MBA
Experience: 15-20 years of relevant experience
