Head - Research & Development - Healthcare/Pharma

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the company's R&D strategy in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives

- Lead and inspire a team of researchers, scientists, engineers, and technicians to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

- Product conception and design, development, validation

- Lead regulatory data generation, approvals, product optimization for manufacturing, product labels and support

- Foster a strong intellectual property (IP) culture by protecting inventions and innovations though patents, copyrights, and other IP strategies

- Research Management

- Design and lead research initiatives to explore new technologies, materials, and methodologies that an be applied to existing or future products

- Drive the evaluation, election, and implementation of appropriate research methodologies, tools, and resources to enhance R&D capabilities

- Collaboration and Partnerships

- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with external research organizations academic institutions, and industry experts to leverage their expertise, resources, an technologies

- Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate potential collaboration opportunities, joint ventures, or licensing agreements to accelerate innovation and expand market reach

- Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, cost control, and efficient utilization of funds

- Monitor ND analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and technology investments
