Head - Research & Development - Phyto Chemicals

We are hiring R&D Head (Phyto Chemicals) for Research and Development with one of the reputed Organizations based at Vapi

Role:

- Responsible to lead the development of innovative nutraceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards & optimizing operational efficiency.

- Foster a culture of scientific excellence to deliver high-quality products that meet market demands & exceed customer expectations

Responsibilities:

- Lead new product development initiatives, optimizing processes for efficient scale-up from pilot to plant operations

- Manage research projects from concept through to commercialization, ensuring timelines and objectives are met

- Implement best practices in laboratory operations & ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements

- Manage laboratory consumables, equipment, and maintenance to support R&D activities effectively

- Monitor & improve quality control (QC) & in-process quality control (IPQC) functions for R & D

- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements & maintain high standards of product quality

- Write technical reports,project summaries & peer-reviewed scientific publications as necessary

- Maintain accurate records of experimental details,analytical results,& project milestones

- Report work progress at project meetings & contribute to decision- making processes related to product development & R&D strategy

- Transfer optimized processes from the laboratory to plant or pilot plant operations

- Assist in internal & external audits related to R&D activities,ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

- Organize & oversee daily and weekly research activities of the R&D team, providing guidance & support

- Train & mentor team members on technical issues,laboratory procedures, and quality management systems
