Head of Research and Development (R&D)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of R&D to lead our camera business from the ground up. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of camera technology, a proven track record in product development, and strong leadership skills. This role will be instrumental in driving innovation, product development, and strategic direction for our camera business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a long-term R&D strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

- Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation to market launch.

- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

- Technology Research: Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements in the camera industry and identify emerging trends. around Camera Application, Camera Framework, Camera HAL & System.

- Artificial Intelligence(Camera and Imaging Solutions).

- Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technology providers, suppliers, and academic institutions.

- Intellectual Property: Protect the company's intellectual property through patents and other legal mechanisms.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the product development process.

- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize product development processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 15 + years of experience in camera technology and product development.

- Proven track record of leading successful R&D teams and delivering innovative products.

- Strong understanding of image sensors, optics, signal processing, and embedded systems.

- Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and firmware engineers.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
