Job Description - You will be responsible for ensuring that the Company is conducting its business operations in full compliance of with all national and relevant states laws, regulations and policies. You will be the bridge with relevant government departments, authorities and industry bodies and assist in the interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures and industry best practices

Description
Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring
- Keep abreast of local regulations and maintain and keep up-to-date a repository of key regulations, with early escalation of new regulations to leadership as well as the regional PA team
- Ensure that the Company complies with national and relevant states laws and regulations including but not limited to areas of taxation, import/export, food safety, labelling, marketing.
- Propose, implement and validate timely action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
- Proactively help develop marketing and sales materials and labels.
- Ensure end-to-end management and tracking all Company licenses, permits and registrations, ensure all are up to date and be responsible for such renewals and/ or applications.
- Provide regulatory approval to innovation projects as required.
- Support internal functions, e.g. logistics, marketing and sales in understanding new registration procedures
- Review and monitor existing practices within the Company and identify potential gaps for improvements.
- Work closely with regional E&C, Internal Audit in creating and implementing organizational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations
- Work closely with management and relevant functions to identify and manage regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Ensure regular communications and training of all internal stakeholders on regulatory topics.
- Manage and maintain relationships with the relevant third-party stakeholders and be the primary contact point with all relevant government departments on behalf of the Company.
- Represent the Company in relevant industry associations and working groups, under the leadership of the Managing Director
- A member of the Executive Committee of the Company.
- A member of the Public Affairs Global Network
- Source the appropriate third-party consultants or professional advisors and manage the same on relevant projects, if necessary.
