Head - Reconciliation - Banking Domain - Chennai - Diversity Hiring

- The aim of the position is to ensure that the Bank follows a standardised, aligned and efficient approach to provision of all reconciliation activities including Nostro, Depot, Internal and inter-system (Front-Office Back-Office) reconciliations and associated Investigations & Compensation claims.

- Establish strategic direction both in terms of approach to service provision and global footprint, working with senior functional and regional heads to ensure strategy,change and key stakeholders are all managed effectively.

- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all daily Reconciliation and Investigation deliverables.

- Ensure full set of Metrics (BAU & Project) are produced for function and utilised to proactively drive performance and minimise risk.

- Benchmarking services against internal/external parties to ensure best practice is established.

- Identifying & sponsoring systemic solutions to enhance productivity and quality of the services.

- Own and manage global Reconciliation & Investigations functional tooling and further leverage existing enterprise wide infrastructure in order to reduce total cost of system ownership.

- Comply with relevant Bank Policies, testing and certifying the adequacy and effectiveness of their controls on a regular basis.

Desired Profile :

- Recent experience of leading large scale, multi stream change initiatives which have a global footprint

- Proven understanding of Reconciliation & Investigation activity across multiple jurisdictions, products and functions.

- Knowledge of Reconciliation and Investigation processes with Financial Institution.

- Knowledge of Reconciliation & Investigations technology applications In depth knowledge of financial services industry

- Understanding of key business policies and processes appropriate to Reconciliations & Investigations

- Good knowledge of risk management policies and framework, particularly high profile Group policies relating to reconciliation & balance sheet substantiation.

- Understanding of strategic and change framework

- Background in strategic leadership
