Job Title - Receivable Head
Reporting To - Head Audit
Location - Chennai
Job Objective
Receivable Head generates revenue for companies by ensuring that clients are properly billed for goods or services. They work with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure client payments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for effective management of receivables, focusing on optimizing cash flow, minimizing delinquencies, and maximizing income realization.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of loan register management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify and address income slippages through system enhancements and process improvements, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve income tracking.
- Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the loan register, ensuring completeness and accuracy of loan data to support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Manage all income lines, including interest income, fees, and other sources of revenue, ensuring timely and accurate recording and reconciliation with financial statements.
- Identify areas of income slippage through regular analysis and monitoring, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and prevent revenue leakage.
- Provide leadership and direction to the receivables team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor the performance of team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure accurate and timely execution of receivables management activities.
- Propose areas of income improvement through data analysis and market research, identifying opportunities to enhance revenue generation and profitability.
Must Have
- CA/CMA/ MBA Finance or Any other graduation degree
- 5-15 years of experience in NBFC or any other finance institution in audit/corporate finance
- Have good Knowledge in NBFC & Banking Audits.
- Good Hands-on Advance excel.
- Willing to travel 10-15 Day's in a Quarter.
