Job Description:
9.1 Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical innovations in the diagnostic industry impacting healthcare.
9.2 Identification of current trends in new tests and technologies in medical laboratory and list them for evaluation.
9.3 Ensure innovative lead in healthcare industry, edge over competition and organizational synergy between Operations, Sales and marketing teams.
9.4 Organize R&D meeting as per schedule and follow up.
9.5 Communication with sales, purchase, operations and marketing team foridentification of need of any new test/ technology/ product & ensure commercial returns.
9.6 Support product managers in Pre-test market survey & product launch. Scrutiny of new product request form received.
9.7 Liaison with the operations team to introduce new tests/technology/ equipment/kit/validation plan.
9.8 Extend support to technical sections at GRL and regional labs in data recording & analysis of new tests and technologies introduced along with their validation, SOP making, scientific/ corporate communications, research paper. Support publication plan for each product in association with Academic Cell team.
9.9 Arrange product demonstrations by vendors and vendor evaluation.
9.10 Prepare research proposal/ protocol.
9.11 Monthly MIS preparation- Data, Meetings, Publication, Webinar, Training, Med engage, R &D activities
9.12 Budget planning for R & D
9.13 Maintaining departmental SOPs
9.14 Adherence to R & D policy and ensure that the quality standards are met.
9.15 Conduct/ arrange training for new tests and technologies.
9.16 Analysis of previously launched new tests to track their performance and take necessary actions to boost the volume and revenue in coordination with the operations, sales and marketing team.
9.17 Analysis & upgrade TOPs tests list w.r.t. competitor rates, technology, TAT offered.
9.18 Support Medico marketing and sales team in analysis of competitor lab's business in the market
9.19 MedEngage: Communication with student, their organization representative, HR and respective section in charge for onboarding. Supervise students' research activities and provide support in their thesis, SOP maintenance
