Experience: 16-20 Years

Educational Requirement: B.E in Computer Science (Reputed Indian Institutes / Global Institutes)

Basic Purpose

- Assist in the setup & Head the Global Engineering R&D centre in Chennai, India

Job Roles:

- Leading a strong Engineering R&D center in India

- Technology transfer functions

- Innovation & Platform development

- Customer program management for Local & Global Automotive programs

- Planning, budgeting & resourcing

- Responsible for defining and managing various strategic initiatives

- Lead their global Technology department

- Talent acquisition & development

- Handling various technical aspects like project documentation, system design & integration of modules, monitoring critical paths, application maintenance and taking appropriate actions.

- Planning end to end projects requirements from conceptualization and visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects

Ideal Profile

- Must have successfully worked on strategy for establishment of automotive infotainment development centre or and engineering centre

- Must have lead teams of 100+ people

- Must have a good base of OEM’s / Consumer Durables / Automotive / Electronic customers

- Must have consistently contributed to the revenue growth

- Must have previous experience of designing & developing complete firmware for Automotive or Consumer Electronic products

- Must have a proven track record of building large product engineering centres for automotive systems
