Head - R&D - Agro Chemicals for Ivory Coast (Africa)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Research the Feasibility and Viability of the Product.

- Conceptualizing and developing ideas and techniques.

- Supervising and executing a portfolio of new product development projects.

- Interpretation and correlation of analytical results and experimental output.

- Independently working for development and troubleshooting of chemical processes.

- Identification and characterization of unknown chemical structure using modern techniques.

- Investigate effects of alternative practices on soil and crop productivity.

- Managing and administering a technical team.

- Taking a lead role in brainstorming and innovation programs.

- Taking a lead role regarding scientific and technical questions.

- Liasoning with Agriculture Universities for Research work

- Develop R&D team

- To Participate in Agro Trade Fares.

- To identify best product / practices in different countries.

- To Manage regulatory Affairs, Testing & Registration.

- Reporting key conclusions, strategic overviews and recommendations to senior management.

- Training of the New Products / Enhancements to the Sales Marketing / Channel Partners

- Providing technical support within and outside organization for activities related to scale up and optimization.

- Report preparation for presentation and regular updates.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required :

- Minimum MSC required, PHD is preferred.

- Person must be from agricultural background preferable Agronomist.

- Person must be Experienced in Agro Chemicals Should be having similar industry experience of 10+ years. can be consultant too.

- Incumbent will have to travel to Africa (approx. 5-6 months in a year)

- Person must have Team Handling experience.

- Prior working experience in African countries is preferable.
