Head - R&D - Software & Embedded

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Committed to create the team in a multicultural context.

- Structure the CoE organization identifying and promoting key roles and people.

- Foster strong technical competencies in SW development, including embedded and connected system testing.

- Onboard new people motivating the team to reach challenging objectives and release products that meet customer needs.

- Set up working methodologies and processes coherently with the worldwide R&D center organization guidelines.

- Interface with SBU, LNCA, and Group Operations departments to prepare and control yearly budget and project roadmap.

- Establish and monitor collaborations with external suppliers.

Qualification & Experience:

- BS or greater in Electronic Engineering or Software Engineering

- 10 or more years of experience in electronic product development.

- 5 or more years of experience in a people management role

- Demonstrated experience in electronic hardware and software design.

- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle and management in the business context

- Strong multicultural approach, with proven experience in international team collaboration, especially between western culture (EU+US) and Indian culture

- Excellent relational skills, including communication and negotiation.

- Ability to establish external partnerships and internal sponsorship.

- Fluent in English written and oral

- Ability to deliver projects according to plan (timeline and costs)

Preferred Skills / Knowledge

- Confident in defining and setting team rules.

- Familiar with the Agile development methodology

- Robust technical competence in software and electronic

- Able to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently.

- Excellent communication skills both written and oral are also essential as this position will interface with, business owners, IT and purchase office managers, R&D directors, and project and account managers of the external suppliers.

- Be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
