Our client is a leading Indian multinational and one of the very few global leaders in its field. A pure-play telecom company with core strength in products, they have now moved aggressively into both solutions and services within the industry. The company is one of the key players who will contribute substantially to the countrys SmartCity initiative and is looking at a period of rapid growth through both expansions and acquisitions.
We are currently seeking to identify a Head for Quality function for one of their key plants based in Aurangabad. This is a senior role that reports directly to the Head Operations, India
The company is currently embarking on a growth phase involving expansion and modernization, along with which they would like to ensure a change in the thought process towards performance and uptime. This role will be a key contributor in enabling these changes and instilling the concept of constant improvements and would be expected to carry overall uptime accountability.
Key responsibilities for this role include:-
- Managing & driving world class QMS practices and system.
- Managing global customers engagements-Customer approvals, customer complaints, Customer Satisfaction Programs etc.
- Leading programs & Processes - institutionalizing Quality Culture - Six Sigma Programs, QC Tools, Kaizen etc.
- Creating & developing systematic problem-solving culture.
- Responsible for driving of - Zero Customer complaint & Zero Defects- concepts within company.
- Implementing business excellence models
- The Ideal candidate should be an engineering graduate from a reputed institute, preferably with an MBA and 15-25 years of experience with leading organisations which have high precision, high-efficiency, manufacturing processes. Your experience profile must include:
- Lead Auditor Certification
- Exposure to global customers
- Must have lead the organization as lead Auditor for QMS.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on exposure on Global Manufacturing System - eg. TPS, Lean, TQM, TPM
- to play as a senior quality advisor role by providing strategic quality insights
