Develop, implement, and maintain systems to assure the quality of products and the development and implementation of new products;
Continually review product and process performance and introduce improvements where necessary.
Provide feedback to design processes to improve quality and reliability;
Develop systems to manage customer defect analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and report root cause analysis;
Review in-process data from manufacturing processes and facilitate corrective and preventive actions as appropriate;
Work very closely with customer base to resolve quality issues, will assume the role of window person to the customer regarding quality;
Summarize and present data to Engineering regarding manufacturing, vendor and field complaints. Make recommendations for engineering evaluation toward problem elimination;
Recommend to Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing, process improvements including, inspection and test devices required to maintain the desired quality and reliability;
Conduct testing on prototypes, first shots and trial runs. Record and report the results;
