Head - Quality Assurance - Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced QA Head to lead our Quality Assurance efforts for a leading manufacturer of panels. The QA Head will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and policies tailored to the panel manufacturing industry.

- Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of QA programs.

- Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product quality and process efficiency.

- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes.

- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to proactively address quality challenges and opportunities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- 15-20 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the panel manufacturing industry.

- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), quality control processes, and regulatory requirements applicable to panel manufacturing.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of QA professionals.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Experience with quality assurance tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).

- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE) or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).

- Familiarity with international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant industry certifications.
