Head - Purchase - FMCG

Job Description :

- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies in relation to Products.

- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.

- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.

- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services and finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.

- Examine and test existing contracts.

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Company.

- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.

- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.

- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.

- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

- Motivate direct Procurement from Farmers at farm gate prices.

- Controlling the out flow of the funds for procurements.

- Maintaining the quality of the cargo and timely movement of cargo to the final destinations.

- Direct supervision of procurement centers in relation to qty, quality, funds and movements etc. Primary responsibilities

- Over all in charge of procurement of products in the country leading from front.

- Knowledge of FMCG procurement

- Procurement, Quality controlling, Movements and Logistics,

- Reporting of funds requisition and its control and submission of reports on daily basis to the respective desks.
