Head - Purchase - Cable Industry

Brief JD :

1. Handling purchase for all the Raw materials, machineries, utilities, consumable and all the Capex and Opex related purchases in the plant operations/ project phase

2. Negotiate with vendors and prepare detailed comparative statements

3. Proficient in managing commercial documents/ financial instruments i.e. LC/ABG/PBG etc.

4. Carry out structured Vendor development process

5. Implement Vendor assessment process

6. Inventory management for Raw materials/ Stores & Spares and consumables based on consumption pattern

7. Be updated on trends in metal and petroleum markets and present to management suitably

8. Coordinate with various plant functions to ensure timely delivery of critical materials

9. Manage AMCs for critical equipment

10. Lead cost reduction projects
