Job Title: Public Relations Manager (Individual Contributor)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Public Relations Manager to join our Mktg team in Mumbai. As a Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies to enhance our brand reputation, build thought leadership with CEO, MD , and drive business growth via PR research et etc. You will leverage your strong media relationships to secure relevant stories, quotes, coverage in top-tier / pan India / local publications and manage our reputation through proactive and reactive media engagement.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Develop and execute comprehensive PR plans aligned with business objectives

- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, including journalists, editors, and influencers

- Secure media coverage in top-tier publications, including print, digital, and broadcast channels

- Craft compelling press releases, media statements, and other PR materials

- Manage media inquiries, provide timely and effective responses, and ensure crisis communication preparedness

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and business teams

- Monitor and report on media coverage, sentiment analysis, and PR metrics

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and developments to identify PR opportunities

Requirements:-

- 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry

- Proven track record of securing media coverage in top-tier publications

- Excellent relationships with media representatives in Mumbai and nationally

- Strong understanding of the Indian media landscape and current events

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills

Nice to Have:-

- Postgraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field

- Professional certification in PR (e.g., APR)

- Experience in social media management and content creation

- Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools
