Responsibilities :
- Overall responsibility for overseeing communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with media houses /representatives
- Prepare articles (in consultation with Research & Marcom) and send it forward for press release
- Work on promoting and protecting the image of the organisation in a proper coordinated and consistent manner
- Effectively manage the flow of news about the organization to the media
- Create effective communication channels with the media houses
- Develop and nurture relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure company's image is protected and enhanced
- Develop Media Relations strategy, maintain the voice of the organisation and enhance the presence of the company in all relevant media placements
- Monitor and draw insights from PR results and share it on a periodic basis
- Maximize the organisation's visibility to ensure the company's brand positioning is understood and amplified
Qualification :
Bachelor's or Masters in Public Relations / Journalism / Marketing & Communications
Key Skills & Experience -
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Demonstrated experience responding to media inquiries
- Possess a strong understanding and knowledge of new digital media
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in working in the field of media relations of which at least 8 years as the public relations point office for the Firm
- Preference will be given to candidates from a real estate/real estate consulting background
