Head of Public Affairs
- Responsible for the implementation of the corporate, central and local Public Affairs strategy in India. The position holder is the key contact for all business units and all entities in India where Public Affairs expertise is required.
- The role will be responsible for strategic direction and counsel for other Public Affairs needs in the Greater Asia region as required.
- Maintaining close contact with stakeholders, the position holder will gain insight into their needs as well as general market requirements for performance and delivery.
- The position holder is the coordinator and the interface with all the India functions (Manufacturing Operations, Sourcing, HSE, Supply Chain, Communication, Commercial GBUs, HR) having a link with the external relations (internal and external actions) where Public Affairs is concerned.
- Define the public affairs strategy and action plans for local and regional public affairs activities to launch for all sectors, including pharma business if required. Responsible for planning and implementing global policies, practices and strategy for this function.
- Identify and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders amongst governments and regulatory authorities in alignment with the India Leadership and the Global Public Affairs team.
- Actively participate and contribute in delivering on India business priorities as a member of the India Leadership team.
