MUST - Project Experience in Warehouse Infrastructure Construction (Green House Project or Brown House Project)
Minimum 12 to 20 Years of relevant experience
Our Client : A leading 3PL - Logistics Supply Chain company, with a giant Multinational partner leading its business in many countries across globe is looking for HEAD PROJECTS
Key Responsibility:
1. Project Planning:
- Develop project plans, define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Responsible for Planning and monitoring the project as per the Company's expectation.
- Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required.
- Applying change control and configuration management processes.
2. Project Execution:
- Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress. Ensure all project activities are executed according to plan.
- Designing and applying appropriate project management standards for incorporation in the Review Process.
- Identifying and obtaining support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project.
- Take corrective actions when necessary.
3. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks and issues.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Proactively manage unforeseen challenges.
- Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
- Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact.
4. Resource Management:
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with department heads to ensure resource availability.
- Supervise overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Provide regular project updates and reports.
- Liaison with appointed project assurance representatives to assure the overall direction of the project.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor project quality and compliance with industry standards and company policies. Implement quality control processes.
- Adopting and applying appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards.
7. Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenses. Control costs and allocate resources efficiently.
8. Project Evaluation:
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned.
- Conducting a project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed.
9. Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the logistics or supply chain industry, with a track record of successful project completions.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex logistics and supply chain data.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Willingness to travel, as required.
