For a very renowned organisation - Metal Industry Start up
- A Head of Projects (Project Manager). This person will be coordinating all aspects of a new project coming up near Udaipur.
- The role of the Project Manager (1st 6 months, based out of Mumbai) will be to engage with the JV partner on Technology transfer,
- Appoint Owner Engineer,
- Appoint EPC contractor.
- Apply and get all Statutory/ regulatory approvals, land possession etc.
- Post this phase he could move to Udaipur site to lead the project.
- Developing project baselines; planning, monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment and quality compliance to ensure their satisfactory execution
- Preparation of project cost estimation, monthly fund planning, project planning, target sheets along with steel estimation for fabrication
- Anchoring erection & commissioning as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of plant & utilities
- Meeting the technical representatives at project level for incorporating changes required and finalizing the issues considering management and interest of the Liaising Department
- Liaising with internal Departments, Contractors, Sub-contractors & External Agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals, utility requirements and obtaining clearances
- Preparing detailed technical specification, scope of supply sheet with terms & conditions sheet for floating enquiries/tender document
- Preparing Technical Comparative statement & clarification with suppliers to bring them technically at par
- Involved in planning, organizing & controlling flow of materials from their initial purchase through internal operations to service point
- Controlling the quality and levels of manpower within an organization so that available manpower can be used efficiently & economically.
- Liaised with Project Manager, Project Co-ordinator, Project Administrator and Client Orders review, Study of contract, Flowsheet & Project Specifications
- Conducting project review meeting covering new orders received & booked, margin analysis, commercial issues
- Coordination with Engineering Department to ensure timely provision of customer information and correct interpretation of customer requirements & equipment specifications
- Monthly review of projects with all departments, Identifying projects bottlenecks & provide appropriate solutions for smooth operations.
- Responsible for scheduling & monitoring program activity to achieve an - on-time- result including follow-up with external suppliers
- Ensure all delivery at customer's end as per required time & standards
- Development of new Vendors as per the upcoming new products & also responsible for generating schedule for suppliers & Execution of Purchase Orders.
- Generated guidelines for engineering as per tender specification & handled commercial aspect of the project
- Maintained contractual obligations, billing targets, cash flows & cost control
- Coordination and controlling of dispatch- cum- invoicing instructions, dispatches, timely project invoicing, bills submission, payment collection of the projects.
- Design and implant plant warehousing strategies for production materials & finished products
