Head - Projects & Infrastructure Development
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Management:
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for retail expansion across regions.
- Oversee project planning, design, execution, and handover within defined quality, cost, and timelines.
Retail Infrastructure Development:
- Manage all aspects of retail setup, including store interiors, fixtures, and utilities.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to Duroflex's retail design standards.
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
- Lead a team of project managers and coordinators across multiple locations.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop project budgets and ensure cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular financial reviews to monitor project expenses.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to construction and retail setup.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or budget overruns.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors/contractors for retail development.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per project requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of proven experience in heading projects in a retail setup.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture. MBA or PMP certification is a plus.
Skills:
- Expertise in managing large-scale, multi-location retail projects.
- Strong understanding of retail infrastructure and store design principles.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
