Role Summary :
Reporting to the Director, Investment Products, the successful candidate with be responsible for managing the product lifecycle for our fee-based third party products and Privately Managed Portfolios.
Responsibilities :
- Tie-up with the third party product providers, mutual funds, insurance companies and Alternate Investment funds etc
- Management of our discretionary managed programs; ensure compliant design and delivery of our solutions /Products, including Mutual Funds, PE Funds, Insurance, PMS and overseas product basket
- Development of long term plans to grow asset book, including enhancing the advisor experience, adding new mandates, product innovation and operational improvements
- Domestic and international competitive intelligence
- Portfolio consultancy/Product Advisory to RMs and clients
- Co-ordinate and distribute products
- Source, launch and support new products
- Update RMs on product strategy and market conditions
- Prepare portfolio presentations and coordinate dissemination
- Expand RM's knowledge of investment funds
- Conduct product training
- Co-calling and joint meetings with RMs
- Foster proactive and productive relationships with channel and support partners
- Ensure that the platform remains competitive yet streamlined; that the products are meeting client investment needs and are relevant in the current market place
Technical Experience :
- Strong product knowledge of Mutual Funds and Alternative Investments (Private Equity, Hedge Funds)
- Good understanding of banking & financial knowledge
- Good understanding of selling & regulatory requirements for Mutual Funds and Alternative Investments
- Good track record of product advisory in Funds and Alternative Investments & creation of investment strategies
Non-technical Experience :
- Team player
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Willing to coach, support, and work as team with marketing staff & other product arms of the bank in achieving sales target
- Ability to listen & understand client's requirements
