Head of Products
- We are looking for an experienced product manager from the e-commerce or travel domain to head the development and deployment of our client's product offerings across web based platforms.
- The Head of Products would be responsible to translate the business requirements into technical specifications, and lead the team to deliver the products to meet the requirements. He/ She would set the product priorities, drive shared vision across all teams, build and motivate the team to deliver the products successfully. He/She should understand the end-to-end service delivery process and provide the required technical and managerial support to deliver a world-class experience to the customer.
Job role & responsibilities
- Define product road map with product requirements, launch plan and underlying strategies.
- Conceptualize, innovate, develop, deploy, monitor and manage product development and manage existing products.
- Collaborate with various teams such as Technology, Design and Marketing for core product development.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to define the go-to-market strategy and new product offerings.
- Responsible for user acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Define success metrics and reporting needs to monitor post-launch performance.
- Build and lead the team to deliver on the products and services.
- Solve complex issues to achieve objectives and deliver results on project(s) in a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Analyze data to understand user behaviour and use the insights to continuously improve the product offering.
- Be the internal and external evangelist for the products.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Team Player with excellent people skills to manage relationships with product stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- 8 to 12 years of relevant product management experience
- Experience in building and managing consumer facing and scalable systems
- Experience leading all phases of Product Management from research to deployment to specification definition to user experience coordination to success tracking.
- Demonstrated ability in managing and multiple highly scalable products
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams including technology, design, marketing, business management, customer support.
- Self-motivated with a go-getter attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong orientation to process and structured method to work
- Strong academic background.
- Engineering graduates/Post graduates from premier institutes preferred.
- MBA from premier institutes would be given preference.
