Responsibilities -
- Making changes in organization structure, designing new organization structure, rightsizing existing organization with an objective to improve employee productivity and reduce wage cost
- Formulating Incentive Bonus Schemes and their administration to improve employee morale
- Accountable for maintaining parity in designation, grade/ level, the span of control
- Examine Union grievances wrt grade, number, and IB to maintain Industrial Relations
- Participate in the Union negotiation meetings on manpower and IB revision proposal to ensure parity in extending benefits
- Participate in improving existing work practices
- Formulate guidelines related to organization design, incentive bonus schemes, outsourcing philosophy, etc.
- Study process improvement/cost optimization / Layout & Logistics areas using various IE tools to eliminate waste and improve the productivity of the man-machine system
- Assess the requirement of a fleet size of mobile equipment
- Study capital investment proposals to improve capital productivity
- Study of service contract proposals to reduce contract labor and contract cost
Qualification: B Tech in any discipline with M Tech in Industrial / Production Engineering Exposure to Statistical techniques, Operations Research, Simulation and Process improvement will be preferred.
