As a Production Head for PVC Pipes, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the production process of PVC pipes within a manufacturing facility. Here is a general job description for this role:

- Production Planning: Develop production plans and schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and inventory levels. Coordinate with other departments such as sales, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely production and delivery of PVC pipes.

- Production Management: Supervise and manage the production team, including operators, technicians, and support staff. Ensure that production targets are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining product quality and adhering to safety standards.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement within the production line. Implement measures such as lean manufacturing techniques, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that PVC pipes meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections, implement quality checks, and address any non-conformities or quality issues that arise during the production process.

- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of production equipment, including extruders, molds, cooling systems, and packaging machinery. Schedule preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, including training, performance evaluation, and skill development. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the production team. Implement safety protocols, conduct safety training, and investigate and address any safety incidents or near-misses that occur during production operations.

- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation. Generate regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
