Our client is a MNC auto ancillary manufacturing company . The company has a strong presence in India and is a No 1 supplier of hub bearings to India passenger car industry.

Job Title: Manufacturing Unit - Head Production

Job Location: Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat

Job Description:

The role holder's primary responsibilities include:

- Planning, Scheduling and monitoring all Production activities based on the Targets.

- Optimisation of Man/ machine, resource utilization to satisfy market demand with Customer focus.

- To deal with external and internal support functions to achieve the production targets.

- To execute various audit/ inspection related activities.

- To execute Product Development related activities.

- To maintain and monitor productivity as well as define and execute measures to improve the productivity.

His key tasks are:

- Responsible to align organization target to Segment / Segments targets.

- Complete responsibility of Segment i.e. Quality, Cost, Delivery, 5S,Maintenance and ensuring sustainability all time.

- Responsible for achieving production targets and productivity improvements.

- Responsible for cost and process optimization.

- Responsible for budget planning for segment.

- Responsible for moulding the segment as per the business requirements.

- Responsible for leading various projects related to segment.

- Responsible to lead and motivate team and ensure talent/ skills development of team members , act as a mentor.

- Drive improvement thru’ KAIZEN, TPM, POKAYOKE, LEAN ..etc.

- Responsible for executing various processes & system effectively to Comply with various certification requirements. (TS 16949 , Fit For Quality(FFQ) , OHSAS ).

- Represent production segment in various review meeting at LE level as well as regional levels.

- Generate various MIS as per the requirements of top management of organization.

- Ensure a learning culture where the hidden potential shall be brought forward and creativity shall be given utmost respect.

- Responsible to ensure timely completion of all HR development tools such as Employee Development Dialog (EDD), Superior Conference (SC), Target Agreement form ..etc for segment.

Our client is looking for a candidate, who is:

- B.E. (Mechanical / Production) with more than 15 years of experience in the field of production.

- Excellent Man Management Skills and Presentation skills.
