Head - Product Management - FinTech
About the Company :
- A US based Fin-Tech company is looking for a Product Management Head with minimum 12 years of experience to conceptualize and manage product roadmap (including enhancements and revisions) across its defined life-cycle.
- This company is 12 years old, on a very fast growth path, well funded, stable, profitable and already a unicorn. Company details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.
About the Role : This is a functional leadership position spearheading product management for company's market leading lending platform. The role reports into CTO and/or Head of Technology.
Target Profile : Software product management expertise preferably in the domain of lending, banking, financial services, financial technology with minimum 12 years experience.
Location : The Head-Product Management position will be based out of Delhi-NCR
Role Requirements :
- You will work with business, technology and compliance leadership as well as indian &/ global clients to conceptualize and implement product roadmaps matching their exacting standards. This role will be responsible for turning the product roadmap into a reality.
- Create roadmap for the entire product lifecycle management. Undertake product ideation and define service delivery models for the Global product suite.
- Conceptualize and execute product portfolio in financial lending and digital banking domain.
- Leverage product management techniques to develop platform vision, backlog, release plan
- Incorporate product scalability elements by utilizing AI/ML, Microservices, Innovation in Lending etc.
- Undertake competition research, including mapping comparative products and in-depth analysis. Provide insights on product positioning including emerging trends.
- Translate high level product concepts and business requirements into features and an initial software product backlog.
- Forecast revenue or savings opportunities associated with product development initiatives.
- Introduce innovative features through design thinking and usability studies.
- Lead product demonstrations with C-Suite amongst clients, showcasing unique capabilities and product differentiation
- Work closely with peers for product backlog management and to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives and priorities throughout the development cycle.
- Leverage Agile development best practices to ensure timely and quality delivery of new software functionality
- Be the product information SME - support internal teams including sales, implementation, training, and customer support teams through activities such as product knowledge transfer sessions, leading product demonstrations and responding to information requests
- Support completion of release readiness activities for each project including implementation, training, and customer support readiness, marketing activities, technical documentation, reporting, and client communications
- Provide Program and end-to-end release level oversight and support
- Drive continual improvement of the product delivery process
Key Candidate Attributes :
- Passionate about developing new financial products, product management, program management and company growth
- Must have flair for managing product vision, developing & executing strategy, defining roadmaps and implementation in an agile model.
- Demonstrate ability to understand decipher business models, especially in financial services
- Should be data driven and possess ability to build machine intelligence based use cases
- Must have exposure to global banking and NBFC ecosystems
- Well-versed with functional aspects of Microservices, Cloud Architectures and AI/ML.
- Ability to engage with engineering, Ux, Leadership on product portfolio execution.
- Ability to manage teams, including product managers and business analysts. Leads the team by example, mentors, coaches and develops next line of organizational leaders. Owns hiring, retention and attrition in the team in partnership with HR team.
- MBA from premium institution. Graduate Degree - B. Tech/ B.E./MCA/M.Tech preferably.
- Minimum 12 years of experience, including 4-5 years of product experience in technology/software
- Experience in BFSI, Fintech and Lending is required.
- Agile SCRUM training, related certifications, and prior experience managing a Product Owner team preferred
- Thorough understanding of standard software development lifecycle for enterprise software applications required
- Thorough understanding of scrum framework and agile methodologies and team roles and responsibilities in a SCRUM-based environment
- Experience effectively working with geographically distributed teams preferred

Travel Requirements : As per business requirements
Compensation : CTC will be aligned to market and commensurate with candidate's skills and experience
