Head - Product Engineering - Software

- 10+ years experience in Software Engineering

- Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability.

- Empathetic, people-centered mindset and a passion for leadership

- 5+ years of leadership experience ideally, in leading a team of managers

- Deep understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle as well as agile principles

- Track record of designing Engineering organizational structure

- Business acumen: Proven understanding of business dynamics, goals, and product strategy. Knowledge of how Engineering fits into overall business.

- The ability to balance business needs, a sense of urgency, conflicting constraints, and shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.

- Knowledge of Software Development in at least one of the following areas: mobile apps, high scale backend services or consumer-facing products

- Excellent communication and English skills

- Good to have - Previous experience developing or managing products built with Ruby, Rails, Go, AWS, Angular, Flutter
