The leadership opportunity, with our client would be expected to provide Technology thought leadership and bring in innovation in the process. As a start-up, it would be important to have high energy approach in creating a distinguishing long-lasting proposition/ positioning and add value at every step.
The role would be a key role carrying responsibilities of managing the entire Product engineering part from a Technology standpoint.
Responsibilities :
The Head of Product Engineering will be responsible for Product Engineering, Design, Architecture and Development of Products. There is a need to think in a different and innovative way and come up with ideas that are new and unconventional which could provide an edge and help create a distinguisher.
The role is expected to understand the Credit Card lifecycle completely. The incumbent would be required to manage the following:
The incumbent must have experience and appreciation of changing trends especially when it comes to digitization, mobile wallet and businesses that are run on mobile applications. It would be very important to adapt to the new trends and provide solutions that suit the customers- future-looking needs. This will not only help in consolidating relationships for the current business, it would also help in opening up new avenues and take this route to those mode of payments as well.
Requirements :
- 15+ yrs of total experience with good academic qualifications,
- Prior experience of having worked in a leadership role within Product Engineering,
- Would prefer Credit Cards / Switching / Payments experience,
- An understanding and appreciation of the digital marketplace business model,
- Hands-on approach and strong execution skills,
- Ability to deal with ambiguity; ability to think through and act on different options,
- Be hard-working and diligent, discipline to convert strategy into action,
- Thinking out of the box and come up with innovative solutions,
- Ability to come up with solutions that would reduce cycle-times drastically,
- Ability to work with an organization at different stages of growth and modify one's approach according to the need.
