Role: Head - Product, Credit Policy, and Partnerships (NBFC into Large Infrastructure Projects Funding)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee the development, implementation, and refinement of product offerings and credit policies for existing lending products, with a focus on infrastructure project financing.

- Analyze market trends to assess the attractiveness of new lending opportunities in large-scale infrastructure sectors and lead the development of innovative financial products to enhance the company's competitive advantage.

- Design and establish comprehensive credit policies, risk management frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new products tailored to infrastructure lending.

- Drive process and system improvements to streamline the implementation of lending products and credit policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

- Lead the evaluation and introduction of new product and credit policies specifically for project finance, supply chain finance, and co-lending models within the infrastructure domain.

- Cultivate strategic alliances and partnerships for infrastructure lending, including co-lending opportunities with other financial institutions and stakeholders in large infrastructure projects.

- Evaluate complex financing proposals, including structuring innovative solutions to address unique challenges in infrastructure financing.

- Provide expertise in credit underwriting, due diligence, and risk evaluation for large infrastructure project proposals when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Education: MBA (preferably with an engineering degree or a related technical field).

- Experience: 12-18 years of experience in credit policy, product development, and lending in sectors such as mid-corporate finance, NBFCs, secured lending, term loans, and supply chain finance, with a particular focus on infrastructure projects.

Skills and Competencies:

- In-depth understanding of lending products, particularly in infrastructure project finance, supply chain finance, and secured lending.

- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data, solve problems, and make sound credit decisions under pressure.

- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring rigorous risk assessment and adherence to policy frameworks.

- Proven ability to engage with high-level stakeholders, including promoters, CXOs, and key infrastructure project partners.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex financial products and credit policies effectively.
