Head - Product Control - Investment Bank

A leading client of ours in Investment Banking space is looking for a seasoned professional having experience in Product Control function.

Responsibilities:

- Run the Equities Product Control function and manage the process performance in line with the agreed global Finance and Product Control Controls framework to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and P&L of the Global Equities businesses supported by the team.

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and build and maintain relationships with key local and global internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Qualified accountant

- 12-15 years relevant experience in Product Control

Education:

- MBA, CPA, CMA

Experience:

- Product Control and Accounting for Equities and Equity derivatives, as well as FX and Interest rate derivative product

- Knowledge of Global Equities market

- Ability to work with the trading desk as a “business partner” while maintaining complete independence of the control function

- Familiarity with a range of Equity, FX and interest rate products in terms of market wide conventions, typical trading strategies, and terminologies.
