Job Description :
- Engineer and Full time MBA from Premier school or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years in leading the procurement & business dvelopment function in a mid-large scale retail format.
- Strong experience in developing SOP and controls in brands and private labels.
- At least 4 years of experience in a business head role with P&L ownership for 2 or more categories.
- Detail oriented.
- Has a bent towards fashion.
- Strong understanding of Brand & Quality Effective Planning and Implementation.
- Ability to take revenue & growth ownership as a P&L Head
- Strong Industry and Market Knowledge of buying & mechandising
- Ability to take decisive action based on professional, practical analysis of situations
- Experience and knowledge of leading a team, including the natural ability to motivate, coach & mentor staff to maximize results
- Knowledge of SQL and Imports .

- Managing and driving the purchasing P&L and monitoring performance
- Develop goals and objectives of the procurement function and procedures for the control of work flow
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and areas for improvement to achieve financial goals and drive performance and business results, making recommendations where appropriate
- Work closely with management at all levels throughout the Company to insure alignment of procurement strategies and tactics with business objectives
- Develop and provide reports, activity dashboards and relevant KPIs to monitor and manage procurement activities
- Recommend and implement procurement strategies and best practices, and lead all sourcing, negotiating, contracting and purchasing activities to leverage buying power and create optimal value
- Develop and manage the Procurement process to include: conducting needs assessments, data and competitive analyses, development of SLAs, establishing targets and inventory goals,
- Forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of inventory
- Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
- Develop key relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders to improve business.
- Develop strategies and tactics to optimize contract negotiations with vendors. Obtain agreement on pricing, delivery and other terms.
