Head - Procurement - Oil & Gas/Power/Energy

We have an Urgent Requirement for Head of Procurement between 15-20 years of experience for the Reputed MNC Client.

Mechanical Procurement: 15-20 years

- Required knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, moulding component, epoxy component, mechanical assemblies.

Location : Factory in Goa (Verna)

Basic Qualification : B.E. Mechanical

Additional Qualification (preferable) : PG in Materials Management (for Head position)

Responsibility : Strategic Purchase & Operative Purchase (for Head position),

Should be experienced in / main activities:

- Purchasing process, material planning & Logistics

- Vendor development & Management - Selection, approval, evaluation

- Sending RFQ's, evaluation of offers (technical & commercial), negotiation & finalization, making frame contracts

- Procurement of direct, indirect & Capital goods.

- Drive cost reduction programs using various levers like negotiations, e-bidding / auctions / alternate sourcing

- Localization and component qualification

- Develop long term procurement strategies.

- Fluency in interaction with HQ / Global team and overseas vendors.

- Budget planning.

- MIS reporting as per company guidelines.

- People Management
