Procurement Head ITES/ BFSI (12-15 years)


An exciting opportunity for a Procurement Leader who would be responsible for Technology & Non Technology Procurement which includes procurement of IT Hardware, Software, Professional Services, Facility management, Security etc. We are looking for someone with 12+ years of experience in leading Procurement from Banking, Financial services, KPO or ITES industry.

Responsibilities :

- Defining the procurement strategy, liaise with various department's leader to help and identify the needs across IT and Non-IT procurement.

- Managing complex negotiations with multiple vendors

- Developing sound understanding of cost-effective strategies for the services and products that client acquire

- Building a culture of long-term saving on procurement cost by assessing, evaluating, and analysing the spend and creating alternatives ways of procuring.

- Partnering with businesses and supporting functions to enable them to get the most optimum procurement terms

- Improving the Business Process and Cost Reduction .

- Conducting research for procuring the best services/ products in line with the budgets provided by networking with people

- Influencing and negotiating the contract terms and ensuring compliance to Company's Spend & Transaction Policy

- Tracking and analysing data on spending and saving by improving efficiency and managing audit for procurement function

- Conducting all business with the highest ethical and professional standards.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering & MBA from with 12-15 years of experience in heading Procurement function leading IT and non IT Procurement from Banking, Financial Services, ITES or KPO industry

- Hands-on experience in procurement process and ability to read the market

- Strong negotiations and influencing skills and prior networking with the partner/vendor firms

- Strong decision-making ability and working with numbers

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and to meet deadlines in challenging
