- Responsible for developing, formulating and implementing strategies for sourcing & procurement of materials

- Coordinating with department heads for assessing & planning for the material requirements in line with the schedules

- Managing the overall procurement of raw material, packing materials, consumables, equipments, machinery spares & Project purchases including maintenance of minimum stocks/ inventory.

- Budgeting & planning the funds for procurement & sourcing of materials, ensuring optimum utilization of materials & maximizing cost savings to benefit the BU’s.

- Identifying & developing potential vendors/ suppliers for achieving cost effective purchases of materials, achieving reduction in prices, timely delivery & modifications in the agreement.

- Enable Business success/continuity through timely delivery of products and services.

Desired Candidate profile:

- BE/ Degree in Materials Management with 12 – 15 yrs of exp in Procurement role from an Electronic Industry

- Must have exposure to multi - components procurements

- Must have good exposure in dealing with legal/ finance departments in drafting vendor agreements and have Import process and VAT/ED/ST knowledge

- Experience of setting up/ handling automated purchase process

- Ability to convert unstructured environment into organized eco system

- Ability to lead a team
