Head - Procurement - Capital Project

We are currently looking to hire a procurement Lead for a Bangalore based large scale Capital Project. The candidates should have been in a procurement role in the Construction or Real estate / property sector for a minimum of 10 years. The role is to drive informed procurement decisions that create sustainable value at optimal cost. In addition and also responsible for helping develop vendor management programs and initiatives across the firm and helping support divisions to adhere to the firm’s vendor management policy.

- Partner with the project team (Project Management, Capital Management, Finance etc) to understand short, medium and long-term requirements

- Lead, facilitate an end to end vendor pre-selection, evaluation, RFx management, negotiation, contracting and contract administration process

- Manage and communicate with a full matrix of internal and external stakeholders, locally and internationally

- Ensure appropriate contract structures / types, pricing models, vendor incentive models, service level agreements, performance indicators and cost models are applied consistently across vendors, partnering with internal and external legal counsel on contract structures

- Lead and manage a team of internal and external procurement and supporting teams to deliver within tight time frames

- Identify, assess and assist in the mitigation of various risks

- Drive supply side initiatives to reduce or contain risk, and / or create commercial and revenue generating opportunities

- Manage compliance with and provide reporting on the firm’s commitments in relation to citizenship, for example
CSR and diversity

- Drive development and delivery of the firm’s spend management technical infrastructure

- Facilitate sharing knowledge, experiences and best practice within and across global Procurement and Commercial Management team
