Role : Head - Procurement (Diversity Profile)

- The purpose of this role is to manage and optimize demand (ATL & TTL, all costs except manpower cost & BTL), indirect spends and compressible cost base, The objective of the role is to ensure efficient S&OP process operations and deliver optimum OTIF (on time in full), inventory levels and minimum cost by enhancing the warehousing and logistics network
Responsibilities :
- Is versatile to understand multiple categories (since the person will manage Indirect)
- Is great at influencing, engaging and advising various stakeholders across the business
- Likes to take on a leadership role, build a culture of high performance and nurture talent
- Is Hard nosed when it comes to commercial negotiations with parties
- Is extremely analytical in ones approach to work, is able to turn raw data into business insights and intelligence
- Has a good sense of aesthetics with respect to marketing communication
- Brings an external focus to work, by being constantly updated on developments and innovations in the external world
- Review and Streamline category supplies
- Oversee the inventory/stock availability for key packaging material and ENA
- Analyse structured feedback received from key internal customers/ stakeholders w.r.t the inventory and OTIF Requirements
- Evaluate the savings possibility areas and recommend savings strategy plan for the entire organisation
- Identify possible areas of cost reduction and resources adequacy
- Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs for department personnel and follow-up for induction/ training delivery through HR
- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
