Head - process excellence - Chemical industry

- The Operations Excellence Head is responsible for Leading, managing & executing Operation Excellence activities to improve operations and business processes at all three manufacturing locations of Company.

- The role is also responsible to implement strategic models to transform current business process and create a continuous improvement culture in the organization.

- Involve in coordinating all cost improvement, cost reduction and manufacturing excellence initiatives in the site. Involving in productivity improvement of running chemical commercial processes.

- Provides technical support for multiple plants in the chemicals business: utilizes operation & maintenance experience of plant processes, suggests improvements to ensure process reliability & safety, verifies project related PFDs.

- PIDs, participates in HAZOP studies, monitors plant parameters, efficiencies and supports the plants for correcting deviations etc.

- Should have a good understanding of technology selection for new products under study in the chemical industry, polymer industry, preferably PVC related, and have a flair for project cost estimation & commercials.

Key aspects of Job :

- Plant monitoring

- Monitoring of plant critical parameters.

- Monitoring of process/equipment efficiencies and specific consumptions of raw materials and utilities.

- Identification of technical issues in the plant and troubleshooting the same.

- Ensuring compliance with Standard operating procedures (SOP).

- Downtime analysis for various equipment and the entire plant.

- Overseeing of various statutory compliances for the plant.

- Plant improvements: - process improvement, debottlenecking, new intiatives, benchmarking of equipment & processes, energy & steam audits
