Key Responsibilities:
Business Establishment:
- Lead the establishment of the wealth management division from the ground up.
- Develop and implement strategies to launch and grow the wealth management business.
- Hire and train a team of wealth managers to deliver high-quality financial advisory services.
Team Management:
- Build and lead a team of Team Leads and Relationship Managers (RMs).
- Develop and manage the relationship database, driving the generation of fresh leads through referrals to expand the client base.
- Conduct regular feedback and review sessions with the team to enhance business volume and new client acquisition.
Coaching and Mentoring:
- Coach and mentor the sales team, guiding them to achieve sales targets and professional growth.
- Collaborate with RMs to close sales calls when needed, ensuring high conversion rates.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key and potential investors to secure repeat business.
- Leverage existing HNI connections to establish a strong foundation for the wealth management division.
- Assist existing HNI clients in diversifying their portfolios across different asset classes, providing personalized investment advice.
Business Development:
- Conceptualize and execute events, conferences, and product sessions for investors to enhance brand awareness and client engagement.
- Implement strategies to upgrade client net worth and achieve sales and revenue targets across the product mix.
Communication and Information Flow:
- Ensure timely and accurate flow of information within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Regularly monitor the team's external communication to maintain consistency and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in wealth management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and growing a wealth management business.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in handling sales teams.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality and trust.
