This position is responsible for performing routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. A "pricing Head is responsible to inform their businesses with analytics around the profitability of their products and services", in addition to "building strategies on how to correctly price them" .

Candidate Requirement:

- Ideal candidate having prior experience in Pricing.

- Ideal candidate having prior experience in reinsurance

- Min 12-20 Years Exp Mostly in Reinsurance , Some of it in Life Insurance

- Minimum 10 Years of life insurance experience with at least 5 years of pricing experience.

- Almost 10 years of experience in reinsurance.

- MS Excel Proficiency, Knowledge of VBA will be an advantage.

- Good understanding of product regulations.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Self- Motivated, Positive Attitude & patient

Candidate Requirement:

MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPOSIBILITY:

Pricing:

- Product Pricing- To develop/modify products based on new product ideas or request from products team. Propose new products / riders / product modification.

- Product Filing with IRDAI and Regional Office. Handling queries received from IRDAI and Regional office.

- Reinsurance Administration and Reporting to IRDAI and Regional Office

- Dealing with Reinsurers for negotiating Reinsurance Treaties and Reinsurance administration purposes

- Regional Office Reporting with respect to Product Margins and Product performance parameters

- Implementation of Regional Office Policies

- Reviewing the Claims Model Recalibration

- Approving Group Credit Life and Group Term Quotations

- Co-ordination with other teams for product management related activities like providing sign off on Benefit Illustrations etc, Life department documents etc.

- Measuring the success of the product by proper feedback mechanism

- Reviewing the User Acceptance Tests results and providing sign offs

- Responding to Audit queries

- Building and Mentoring the Team

Reinsurance:

- Responsible for delivering all the reinsurance related tasks

- Reviewing and closing treaties with reinsurers

- Setting up products in the system

- Check Calculation of Monthly Reinsurance premium, sum ceded for individual and group business, with relevant checks applied.

- Analysing the numbers to make sense out of them.

- Checking Calculation for claims recovery for each reinsurer.

- Responsible for producing regulatory deliverables such as LR forms and statements.

- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for any queries and smooth business operation.
