Job Description : PRSS (Power Research & System Studies)
Position Name : Managerial Position in Power Research & System Studies
Total Experience : 16-22 Years, Out of which - Minimum 3-4 years should be as HOD
Qualification : BE(Electrical), M. Tech in Power Systems
Skills : Hands on knowledge & Exp. In Load Flow Analysis, Transient stability studies, Cable & Conductor sizing, Protection schemes etc through MiPower & E-Tap Softwares.
- Analyze & Study state & central grid, its dynamics & updated information.
- Carry out Load Flow studies for effective evacuation of wind farms.
- Complete procedures knowledge of evacuation approval with all STU/CTU.
- Knowledge of regulations norms relevant to power systems, inter-state lines etc.
- Design PCN for 33kv grid within a wind farm with controlled %losses, cost & time including inputs for site.
- Very good knowledge of ETAP software tool and power system study modeling.
- Modelling, Validating, Analysing and Simulation of wind farm for Power System Studies. This shall include not limited to determination of annual average loss, loss level at different segment in the PCN, voltage profile assessment, determination of voltage regulation, improvements measures etc.
- Technical optimization on Electrical infrastructures based on numerous case study of PCN through Power system study.
- Evacuation assessment for future wind farms across the country.
- Development of each state grid in auto cad keeping all future wind and utility network plans for evacuation assessment. Updation of all these maps constantly by collecting information from different utilities from time time.
- Maintenance of Power statistics for all India Basis.
- Electrical infrastructure Specification preparation and technical support to all departments.
- Preparation of strategies for evaluating future Wind farm sites.
- Troubleshooting on technical issues as and when problem arises in the power collection network.
- Interaction with Customer Consultants on evacuation system and power collection network studies.
Good knowledge of all the state grid codes, existing and forthcoming policies with technical advantage and hindrance.
