One of the leading Automobile Giant is looking for Experience Polymer Technology Professional for the role of Head Polymer Technology to be based out at Chennai Location.

Position : Head Polymer Technology

Experience (years) :

- B.Tech. / M.Tech. with 18 to 22 years industrial experience.

- PhD with 15 to 18 years industrial experience.

Industry Preferred : Automotive Industries / Tier-1 & 2 Suppliers for Automobiles

Responsibilities :

- Ensure Technology Road map on materials & processes in place and deployment plan as per future Business needs

- Ensure commercialization of cost-effective & deploy able technology to create competitive edge in the market.

- Ensure light weighting materials technology deployment through material conversion and design & process innovation.

- Plan resources (human & equipment) with maximum utilization for Polymer group.

- Ensure effective allotment of available resources over various projects & platforms to support the programs as per the time line.

- Ensure deliverable for various projects through CFT approach.

- Ensure First time right and Every time right polymer material & process recommendation.

- Ensure front loading through lessen learnt and material & product standardization.

- Ensure technical support to other processes like SSU, CDMM, Paint shops, etc.

- Ensure sustainability drives in line of organization goals.

- Finally, ensure a systematic & discipline process approach at all level of works with other COEs & Processes.

- Domain Knowledge on Plastics, Composites, Rubber, Paints, Adhesive, Sealant, Recycling engineering, green technology, etc.

- Good Analytical & problem solving skills.
